"A simple Chinese food restaurant that served high-class food. From the service, I think the waiters are very professional with the way they greet customers and served food just like in a five-star restaurant. The restaurant is not so big with quite small round tables, but customers can go to the second floor if the first floor is full. For the food taste very good. This restaurant is very generous in putting different ingredients in the dish that make all the foods very flavourful. My favorite dish is Belut Cah Fumak (fried eel cooked with fumak vegetable and angcau), Gurame Asam Manis (sweet and sour fried fish), and Gurame Saos Rujak (fried fish in fruit salad sauce). The Belut Cah Fumak is very crispy and have good savory and a bit sweet taste. One of the best Belut Cah Fumak I have ever eaten. And for the Gurame Asam Manis and Gurame Saos Rujak, the fish was cooked perfectly with a good level of crispiness and tender fish meat. They also pour in a large amount of sauce. When I ordered Gurame Saos Rujak, the fruit salad flooded the fish making the fish covered in a mountain of fruit salad. The sauce for Asam Manis and Saos Rujak has a good taste of sour and sweet. I think the price is quite reasonable with Gurame Saos Rujak coat around Rp. 128,000, and Belut Cah Fumak cost around Rp. 100,000. I think it's worth the price and the portion size. Additionally, they offer free-flow tea (teh tawar)."

"Typical old fashioned Chinese restaurant, so expect a shabby decor. A bit on the pricier side, and they don't have prices listed on the menu. Customers beware. Taste is above average. "Eka Jaya is a little gem of a Chinese restaurant. It looks like a small mom and pop restaurant but it served premium meal priced at a fraction of what you need to pay at big established place like Jun Njan, Central, and Angke. The best thing is, the food is mostly better than those big places! My go to menu are fried noodle, eel with fumak, and their super crispy fried chicken, super delicious! The place is neat and clean, the service is quick and nice."
